Cover Box to Ultima VII The Black Gate

Twenty years ago in 1992 this game was released by Origin Systems Inc. I am extremely proud to have worked on this award winning game and loved working at Origin Systems. The game industry now is so much bigger than it was back then. Times change, the tech certainly has. Most people now don’t even buy physical copies of their games, they get them off of Steam or some other digital download platform. Here’s hoping that the next twenty years of gaming will be as productive as the last! Ultima VII was the first computer game I ever worked on. Many people think it was a genre defining game. Here’s what came with it:
