I live in Austin Texas, which is a nice place to be.  I am married and have two sons, so my life is pretty hectic.   Life is full of surprises, and you never know where you’ll wind up, or what you’ll be doing.  I consider myself lucky to have worked in this crazy industry all these years, doing what I love and to have worked on fun games with some awesomely talented people.

Professional Skills and Qualifications
I created the Design Department at Aspyr Media Inc..  As the Game Design Director, I oversaw a staff of 12 Designers and several contractors for three years. My duties included game vision, recruiting, planning, hiring, training, and overseeing designers I assigned to multiple projects as well as working with other directors to staff projects with appropriate resources.  Additionally, I created and maintained numerous game documents such as GDD’s, held high level contacts with executives at third party companies, and maintained management over my department.

  • Developed, pitched and maintained game design documentation such as GDD’s, pitches, executive summaries, and other documents required for creating software.

  • Talazar’s Revenge included all new features — snow covered terrain, five towns, monsters, quests, and dozens of new weapons and armor.
  • Re-designed and expanded many of the weapons for Ashen Empires.
